Deputy Manager applicants need seven years of executive experience. Three of those years must meet the stated supercritical thermal-plant condition.
The Chief General Manager post requires 27 years of executive experience. Eight years must involve relevant operations and maintenance work in a qualifying supercritical plant.[2]

Interview marks determine final merit
SJVN will scrutinise applications before document verification and personal interviews. The company may use a qualifying screening test when applicant numbers require further shortlisting.
Final selection is based on interview marks. The qualifying interview mark is 50 percent for UR, EWS and ESM candidates, and 40 percent for the listed reserved categories.
