ISRO Scientist Engineer Application Fee
The official application fee is ₹250 for all posts. However, every candidate has to initially pay ₹750 as processing fee. The refund depends on whether the candidate appears in the written test or CBT.
- Women, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen who are exempt from the application fee can receive the full ₹750 processing fee back if they appear in the test.
- Other candidates who appear in the test can receive ₹500 back after ₹250 is deducted as the application fee.
- No refund is considered if the candidate does not appear in the written test or CBT.
Selection Process
The selection process includes a Written Test or Computer Based Test followed by an Interview. Based on written test performance, candidates are shortlisted for interview generally in a 1:5 ratio, subject to the official rules.
For final panel preparation, ISRO gives 50% weightage to written test marks and 50% weightage to interview marks. Candidates should read the full notification for qualifying marks, exam pattern and PwBD provisions.
