Latest Apprentice Jobs in August 2026 include 627 one-year training positions at HAL Aircraft Division, Nasik. Applications for both advertisements close on 4 September 2026.[1][2]
The recruitment covers 355 ITI places and 272 places for engineering graduates, diploma holders, pharmacy graduates and specified non-technical graduates. Each group follows a separate official form.
Both HAL Nasik forms close on 4 September
HAL issued two advertisements because the portal and qualification routes differ. Advertisement 264 covers NATS candidates, while Advertisement 265 covers ITI candidates using NAPS.[1][2]
The closing date is the same for both groups. Candidates should complete the relevant portal profile before opening HAL's linked application form.

Four qualification groups make up the 627 places
The 272-place advertisement allocates 133 seats to engineering graduates. Diploma candidates receive 61 places, while listed non-technical graduate degrees account for 78.[1]
The separate ITI advertisement contains 355 places across sixteen trades. Fitter has 110 places and COPA has 70, making them the two largest notified trades.[2]
| Qualification group | Notified places | Monthly stipend |
|---|---|---|

Applicants should use their exact qualification and trade row. The headline total does not allow switching between unrelated disciplines or portals.
Recent graduates need a completed result and NATS profile
Advertisement 264 accepts candidates who passed during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Applicants must already hold their passing certificate when they apply.[1]
Appearing candidates and applicants awaiting results are ineligible. A candidate also becomes ineligible after completing apprenticeship training or registering with another establishment.
Engineering and pharmacy places
The graduate table includes aeronautical, aerospace, computer, information technology, civil, electrical, electronics, mechanical, chemical, artificial intelligence and data-science branches.
It also lists four pharmacist places for BPharm candidates. The qualification must come from a recognised university and match the relevant row.[1]
Diploma and non-technical graduate places
The diploma table covers aeronautical, aerospace, civil, computer, information technology, electrical, electronics, mechanical and medical laboratory technician qualifications.
Non-technical places are available for BA, BCom, specified BSc and BBA graduates. The BSc row is limited to Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Statistics.[1]
These candidates need a NATS student or enrolment ID before completing HAL's graduate and diploma form. Mandatory eKYC and APAAR requirements also apply on NATS.
ITI applicants need the matching regular trade from an NCVT or SCVT recognised institute. The advertisement separates two-year and one-year trades for stipend purposes.[2]
| ITI trade | Places | Duration group |
|---|---|---|
| Fitter | 110 | Two-year trade |
| COPA | 70 | One-year trade |
| Electrician | 35 | Two-year trade |
| Turner | 25 | Two-year trade |
| Machinist | 22 | Two-year trade |
| Other listed ITI trades | 93 | See Advertisement 265 |
Other trades include tool and die making, grinding, electronics, mechanical drafting, motor vehicle mechanics, refrigeration, painting, aerospace structural fitting, carpentry, sheet metal and welding.
Most ITI candidates must obtain a NAPS registration number and complete their profile. A narrow exception covers passed candidates awaiting the final result copy for portal registration.[2]
That exception does not remove the qualification. The final ITI result copy must be available during document verification.
Stipend changes with the qualification group
Graduate and non-technical graduate apprentices receive ₹12,300 monthly. Diploma apprentices receive ₹10,900 under the notified NATS arrangement.[1]
Two-year ITI trades receive ₹11,040 monthly, while one-year trades receive ₹10,560. Payment requires the notified Aadhaar-linked bank arrangements.[2]
The notified training period lasts one year. Candidates arrange their own travel and accommodation, although the HAL frequently asked questions mention limited accommodation subject to availability.
No travel allowance is payable for document verification or joining. Successful candidates must also meet the later medical and police-verification requirements.
Academic merit leads to physical document verification
HAL prepares graduate and diploma merit from qualifying marks. ITI merit gives 70 percent weight to Class 10 marks and 30 percent to ITI marks.[1][2]
Shortlisted candidates must report with original records. Photocopies or digital copies do not replace the originals during physical verification.
Graduate and diploma verification is planned for the second and third weeks of September. The ITI advertisement uses the same tentative verification period.
Shortlist publication is planned for the fourth September week. Joining is tentatively placed in the first and second weeks of October.[1][2]
Documents worth preparing now
- Portal registration or enrolment details matching the form.
- Aadhaar and the required linked bank account records.
- Class 10, ITI, diploma or degree certificates.
- All marksheets and any university conversion formula.
- Current category certificates in the required format.
- Original records for the physical verification stage.
Name differences across Aadhaar, certificates and portal profiles can delay verification. Candidates should correct mismatches before submission whenever the issuing system permits changes.
Use the route attached to your qualification
Graduate, diploma and non-technical applicants first create or update a NATS profile. They then enter the NATS enrolment details in HAL's dedicated graduate form.
ITI applicants normally complete NAPS registration and eKYC first. They then use the separate ITI form published inside Advertisement 265.
- Download the advertisement covering your qualification.
- Confirm that your exact branch or trade appears.
- Check prior apprenticeship and result-status eligibility.
- Complete the correct NATS or NAPS profile.
- Match your name with certificates and Aadhaar.
- Open the corresponding HAL application form below.
- Enter marks from the official certificate carefully.
- Review every field before submitting the one-time form.
- Save the successful submission confirmation.
- Monitor email and HAL Careers for the shortlist.
The forms should be completed only once. Incorrect marks or personal details can cause rejection during scrutiny, even when a portal accepts the submission.
Open the correct official HAL form and advertisement
Use NATS for graduate and diploma registration. ITI applicants should use the official NAPS apprenticeship portal before HAL's second form.
Readers can compare other verified training notices in our apprentice jobs section. The ISRO URSC apprentice guide covers a separate employer and application route.
