Educational Qualification
Qualification is different for each post. SI Civil, Reserve SI and SI SPF generally require a recognised degree, subject to the special provision stated for eligible SC/ST candidates. Technical SI posts require the relevant engineering diploma, B.Tech or prescribed technical qualification. Most Constable-level posts require Intermediate or the post-specific qualification, while technical Constable posts require the relevant SSC, ITI or technical qualification. Scientific Assistant posts require the relevant postgraduate science qualification. Candidates must check the notification applicable to their post before applying.
