This is an admit card update, not a new application notice. The application process for these advertisements is already over. VSSC has not reopened applications or announced a fresh vacancy total through this admit card notice. Eligibility, age limits, fees, pay and category reservations remain governed by the original advertisement for each post. Candidates should not rely on figures copied from an unrelated VSSC recruitment.

Who should download the VSSC CBT hall ticket

The schedule covers candidates whose application belongs to one of the post numbers listed below. It includes Technician-B trades, Scientist/Engineer-SC posts, Pharmacist-A, Draughtsman-B, Light Vehicle Driver-A and PGT (Computer Science). Check both the advertisement number and post number before using the schedule. Similar job titles under another advertisement may follow a different selection timeline.

Advertisement 334 accounts for most of the trade and technical posts in this CBT. Advertisement 336 covers several Scientist/Engineer-SC post numbers. Advertisement 332 covers Light Vehicle Driver-A, Post No. 1527, while Advertisement 337 covers PGT (Computer Science), Post No. 1561. The official PDF does not give vacancy numbers, qualifications, fees or salary details because its purpose is limited to the examination schedule.[2]

How to identify your correct CBT row

Do not search the timetable by job title alone. Begin with the advertisement number shown on your application, then match the post number. This is especially important for Scientist/Engineer-SC candidates because Advertisement 336 uses several separate post numbers across both examination dates and all three shifts on 16 September. The schedule does not print a specialisation beside those Scientist/Engineer-SC rows, so the post number is the reliable match.

Trade candidates under Advertisement 334 should also read the complete post name. Technician-B appears for Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Carpenter, Electrician, MMV/Mechanic Diesel, Electronic Mechanic, Turner, Photography and Electroplater, with different shifts. Post No. 1538 is printed as Technician-B (MR & AC) in the schedule. Keep that official wording when comparing it with the hall ticket rather than expanding the abbreviation from an unofficial source.

The two posts in the 11:00 AM shift on 17 September belong to different advertisements. Light Vehicle Driver-A, Post No. 1527, is under Advertisement 332. PGT (Computer Science), Post No. 1561, is under Advertisement 337. A candidate should treat the row as confirmed only when the advertisement number, post number and post name all agree with the application record and admit card.[2]

How to download VSSC Admit Card 2026

  1. Open the official VSSC Careers page.
  2. Find the notice titled "Admit card for CBT scheduled to be held on 16th and 17th September, 2026." The date shown beside the notice is 12 September 2026.
  3. Select the admit card link. It opens the official applicant login hosted for VSSC recruitment.
  4. Enter your VSSC registration number as the login ID.
  5. For a first-time login, enter your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format as the password. The applicant portal asks candidates to change that password to one containing uppercase and lowercase letters, a number and a symbol, with at least eight characters.[3]
  6. Open the admit card activity, download the hall ticket and save a copy that remains readable when printed.

Use the direct download button near the top of this page if the VSSC Careers page is slow. Confirm that the login page identifies itself as the applicant login before entering details. Do not share your registration number, password or downloaded hall ticket on social media or with an unofficial job portal.

Login and password notes

The applicant page treats the date of birth as a first-time password, not a permanent password. Enter it as eight digits in DDMMYYYY order, without spaces, slashes or hyphens. For example, the format requires two digits for the day, two for the month and four for the year. Use the candidate's actual details from the VSSC application record rather than trying variations.

After the first login, the portal asks for a password with uppercase and lowercase letters, a number and a symbol, and sets a minimum length of eight characters.[3] A candidate who has already changed the password should use the changed password. Avoid repeated attempts with the date of birth if it is no longer the active credential. The VSSC registration number remains the login ID stated in the admit card notice.[1]

What to check after downloading the admit card

Start with the basics: your name, photograph, registration number, advertisement number and post number. Then compare the test date, shift and reporting time with the official schedule. The city and full venue address matter just as much. VSSC said the allotted examination city would be communicated through registered email, while the exact examination venue would appear on the admit card.[2]

Read every instruction printed on the hall ticket. The schedule PDF does not specify the permitted identity document, prohibited items, gate-closing time or rules for rough work. Those details may be given on the candidate's admit card. The hall ticket therefore takes priority over general exam-day advice published elsewhere.

If the printed advertisement number or post number does not match your application, do not assume the schedule is correct for you. Recheck the original application record and the current VSSC Careers entry. A mismatch should be raised with VSSC through its recruitment support channel rather than corrected by hand.

Exam city, venue and travel planning

The schedule and the admit card provide different information. The schedule groups candidates by date, shift, advertisement and post. It does not name individual test centres. VSSC states that candidates will receive the allotted examination city through their registered email address. The exact venue is provided on the admit card available from 12 September.[2]

Candidates travelling from another district or state should wait for the exact venue before finalising the last part of their journey. Check the distance from the railway station, bus terminal or airport, and allow enough time to reach the centre before the reporting time. The official PDF specifically advises candidates to plan their travel according to the city communicated to them.

If the admit card email has not arrived

An absent email does not by itself mean that the admit card is unavailable. Log in through the official download page using the same VSSC registration number used for the application. Also check the spam and promotions folders of the registered email account. Confirm that you are checking the correct advertisement and post number.

If the portal does not show the admit card or the candidate details are wrong, use the recruitment contact published by VSSC. The Careers page lists rmthelp@vssc.gov.in for recruitment-related queries.[1] Include only the information needed to identify the application. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents by email unless VSSC specifically requests them through an official process.
